Denpasar, 23/4 (Atnews) - Nadia Karina Wijaya, who is fondly addressed as Nadia serving as Miss Indonesia (Putri Indonesia) Bali 2019, will focus on paying attention to the world of education and health. Both fields are excellent programs that will be carried out over the next year.
“I want all younger generations of the nation, especially on the Island of the Gods, to have the opportunities to study,” explained Nadia who works as a Senior Management Consultant at The Big 4 in Jakarta.
She won the achievement as Miss Indonesia of Favorite Social Media for Bali, NTB and NTT who represented Bali in the prestigious beauty pageant for the selection of the Miss Indonesia 2019 some time ago.
Having a hobby of reading classical literature, softball and playing piano, this girl expected the children to be smart because they will be the successors of the nation. “We will specifically help those who are less fortunate,” she said.
For this reason, she will collaborate with educational institutions and communities who truly care for children.
She is a graduate of SMAN 4 Denpasar high school and continued her higher education to Bachelor of Science program at the International Business Administration, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and the Master of Science in Business Information Management, at the same university.
Meanwhile, in realizing quality education and global competitiveness and responding to rapid changes in entering the 4.0 industrial revolution, the health sector is also well considered, including its supporting environment. Health movement and dissemination will be intensified to the community. Related to this, she was just trusted as the Ambassador of the Indonesian Ministry of Women’s Empowerment & Child Protection for my Indonesian National Smile Program.
“I was selected because of the spirit of work even though I am suffering from one of the diseases,” she affirmed.
This condition did not dampen her to always work hard for the nation. It is carried out in totality and wholeheartedly by providing the best in the selection of the Miss Indonesia beauty pageant.
Even though she did not have experience in participating in women’s events, with the courageous and support of her family, she had the opportunity to make the region proud.
The experience can become an inspiration to other women because the talent possessed can be showed off so that it is beneficial for the progress of themselves and the future of the nation. (ART/ika)
