Denpasar, 4/6 (Atnews) – Head of the Denpasar Youth, Sports and Education Agency, I Wayan Gunawan, expected the Junior Chamber International (JCI) to play a role in accelerating the realization of a creative economy.
“The effort is in line with the vision of development in Denpasar as a creative city,” said Gunawan in Denpasar, Tuesday (Jun. 4).
This was stated in the "Business Gathering and Gala Dinner" of JCI Bali with JCI Japan that organized "Global Training School."
According to him, the experience of the two organizations can be integrated in contributing to building the region, nation and state.
This is in line with the statement expressed by a member of the Central House of Representatives, Gede Sumarjaya Linggih, who is also active in the JCI organization, adding that Indonesia should learn from Japan because Japan has advanced on science and technology. “However, Japan also has manners and ethics that are so disciplined,” he said.
For this reason, the younger generation chooses JCI as an organization for self-development because it is a global organization.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Committee, Dewa Ayu Idayati, hoped that the event will be able to strengthen the brotherhood between the two countries, namely Indonesia and Japan.
“Collaboration in various sectors such as economy, social, culture or education has been established,” she concluded. (ART/02)
