WHP Prepares Cadres of Hindu Young Leaders to Bring Better Change

Denpasar, 22/6 (Atnews) - The World Hindu Parishad (WHP) prepared cadres of young leaders with quality to be able to bring a better change. “Such an effort is made in rebuilding world civilization that is seriously ill due to humanitarian crisis,” said President of WHP, I Made Mangku Pastika, in Denpasar on Saturday (Jun. 22).

This was conveyed during the inaugural meeting of the World Hindu Wisdom Meet (WHWM) 2019 featuring the theme of ‘Empowering Future Leader’ with the peak of implementation on September 21-22, 2019.

According to him, the youth is the future hope of the Hindus that deserves empowering so that it ripens the leadership talents they have. For this reason, the meeting is able to add insight and networking among the youths throughout the world.

The activity discussed about important topics namely politics, technology and entrepreneurship by bringing in selected sources that are relevant to younger generation. Thus, there are no longer assumptions that Hinduism is complicated, expensive or troublesome its followers.

This important lesson is the presence of weaknesses in the kings of the Hindu kingdoms of the past, namely they did not try to regenerate or did not carry out coaching to create leadership cadres.

On the contrary, the Hindu kings of the past wanted to be in power for life, and inherited the power only to descendants from the family line even though they did not have good leadership qualities. “It is this egocentric government destroying the glory of the past and did not keep up with the changing times,” he said.

The WHWM 2019 will grow and develop leader cadres that can build the Hindu in the future that will be better and relevant to the theme of the WHWM 2018, namely ‘Hindu for Better Life.’

To that end, the event is a concrete realization of the continuity of the WHWM 2018 event as small measure to realize a better life through the preparation of cadres rather than the quality of current leaders.

Meanwhile, Committee Chairperson of the WHWM 2019, I Made Dwija Suastana added that such event does not only talk about theory. However, the WHWM 2019 will organize field activities in the form of camps. “This model is believed to increase cooperation, brotherhood and unity among the youths,” he said.

Furthermore, the WHWM programs are the implementation of the idea of establishing WHP inspired by the views of Hindu leaders at the General Assembly of PHDI X held in Bali on October 23-26, 2011.

For the participation and appreciation of various parties, it was then established the WHP. After this organization was established, the WHP attempted to implement useful program activities for the realization of Hindu Human Resources (HR) that are responsive to the advancement of science and technology as a manifestation of participation in the process of developing nations and world civilizations in various fields.
