Governor Koster Supports President WHP Pastika to Strengthen Global Hindu Networking

Denpasar, 15/7 (Atnews) - Governor of Bali Wayan Koster supported the program of World Hindu Parishad (WHP) in strengthening the global Hindu networking. The program referred to by President WHP I Made Mangku Pastika is the collaboration of WHP with Hindu public and private universities or colleges in Bali, outside the region and even around the world to follow up the cooperation of the Bali provincial government with the State Government of Utharakan India.

The plan includes the establishment of Hindu schools (kindergarten, junior and high school, public universities), the establishment of Atma Kert Bali Gangga Pratista in Tirta Gangga Karangasem and Swasti Prapta Kalingga Bali Yatra (homage to Rishi Markandeya), implementation plan of the WHWM on September 20-21, 2019 at Bali Mandara high school and Visada Ashram Bedugul and sustainability of the WHP Secretariat at the Bali Culture Agency.

“I support these noble programs so that the small Bali becomes part of a great Hindu movement,” said Koster in Denpasar on Monday (Jul. 15).

This was stated at the hearing with the WHP Board 2019-2024 in Jayasaba, Denpasar Governorate. The effort is in maintaining minority Hindus in facing various life challenges. This condition has been in line with the development vision Nangun Sat Kertih Loka Bali so that it just needs to be strengthened by study and technically.

Likewise, the development of Hinduism is expected not to leave local wisdom having become the characteristic of respective region. The uniqueness is already well known overseas and attracts tourists to come to Bali.

Meanwhile, President WHP Pastika hoped the importance of support given by the government in preparing Hindu human resources (HR) so that they are able to compete in facing various future challenges. The measure can also create future leaders that bring along significant changes to Hindu for Better Life.

For this reason, his party involved young generation in every activity. Moreover, participants of the WHWM 2019 belong to millennial generation. Meanwhile, in terms of education sector, he hoped to build public schools with Hinduism nuance by using government-owned land.
