KRI Bima Suci as the Pride of Indonesia, Ambassador of the Nation to Bring Coolness of the World

Denpasar, 26/10 (Atnews) — Deputy Governor of the Naval Academy (AAL), Brigadier General (Mar) Endi Supardi, expected the Republic of Indonesia Ship (KRI) Bima Suci - 945 as one of the naval training ships can build world peace. The presence of the KRI Bima Suci can establish relationships and strengthen communication between countries.

This was conveyed during the Cocktail Party with the performance of the Nusantara Cultural arts on the KRI Bima Suci before leaving for Australia in Denpasar, on Saturday (Oct. 26).

The event on that occasion was also attended by Denpasar Naval Base Commander, Marine Colonel (P) Henricus Prihantoko.

According to his experience, the activity in the current work of the KRI Bima Suci - 945 is conducting an international friendship cruise voyage and bringing the Kartika Jala Krida (KJK) naval cadet training unit belonging to batch 66 of 2019 coalesced into the taskforce in the National Diplomatic Sailing Mission for 99 days.

Under the leadership of the KJK Executive Training 2019, Marine Lt. Col. (P) Afrilian Timur Sukarno, and the Commander of the Diplomatic Mission Sailing Taskforce, Lieutenant Colonel (P) Waluyo, KRI Bima Suci--945 sailed to visit several neighboring countries such as the Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Batam Port of Indonesia. As scheduled, after departing from Bali, the KRI Bima Suci - 945 will sail for Australia and return to Surabaya.

It received special appreciation from the people in Japan for singing the national anthem of Indonesia Raya where the Japanese and Korean flags were fluttering side by side. Such incident had a big impact on restoring relationship of the two countries.

Moreover, Indonesian people who have Japanese wife or husband claimed to be happy after the arrival of KRI Bima Suci and the naval cadets. The conversation was conveyed in person or through communication groups and social media.

Likewise, the presence of five Australian Naval Officers can improve relations with Indonesia, which had an argument.

In addition, the KRI Bima Suci also displayed the culture of the archipelago that established the reputation of the Indonesia in the eyes of the world. By performing music and traditional dances from each region including Kecak a cappella with Ramayana storyline. For this reason, the ship is the pride of the Indonesian people, especially the Indonesian Navy.

Therefore, the Navy as a branch of the armed forces and as part of the Indonesian Military (TNI) being responsible for the national defense operations of Republic of Indonesia at sea has several warships that function to protect the territorial waters of the national jurisdiction from all forms of threats, disturbances and obstacles.

In its development to handle a warship, the tough and professional Navy personnel are very much needed to operate all combat equipment on board.

On that account, in maintaining the sovereignty of the country at sea, the figure of a leader of the Navy is born from the cadets of Naval Academy who are able to face the demands of duty in the future. For this reason, in the future more generations of Bali are expected to join in the Naval Academy and the Naval Officers of the Indonesian Military. (ART/02)
